Roller and ice hockey goalie tips and information

Ice hockey goalie
of one of the most important positions that a teammate can play when on a hockey team.  This position requires skill, precision, bravery, and quick reflexes.  Because hockey pucks are shot at a goalie at over 100 miles per hour this position requires well made pads, and gloves.  An ice hockey goalie is required to not only wear a one-piece protective body gear but also a special mask to protect their face.

An ice hockey goalie is known for being the key to a teams success when winning a championship or tournament.  The goalie can stop upwards of 34 shots in the NHL and in some minor leagues much more per game.  Of course in the NHL a goalie has the best defensemen money can buy.

If you are considering being an ice hockey goalie then you must have an idol such as Grant Fuhr, Mikka Kiprusoff, Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur, Theodore, Khabibulin, J.S. Giguere, Curtis Joseph, Ed Belfour, Domanik Hasek, or even Chris Osgood.  These are all names you will want to study when learning how to stop blazing pucks and lead your team to a championship title.
